First A little about myself

My name is Jamie Swafford - I go by Jamie.  I joined Heart of Gold in February of 2001.

I'm 45 years old, married 24 years to my husband, Don. Who as everyone knows by now is 7 feet 3-1/2 inches tall and weighs 476 pounds. = ) 

We live on the Beautiful Central Oregon Coast on 22 acres outside of Reedsport.

I have two grown step-children and 13 grand and great-grandchildren. 

Don is a retired commercial fisherman and his home-port was Winchester Bay. 

I was a partner in a Crafter's Mall in Winchester Bay until December 2000 when I left to do other things. I'm the voluntary secretary of the Winchester Bay Merchants Association. I also coordinate the Vendors for two events in our area - Ocean Fest in July and Sand Fest in August. I'm also the clerk for the Winchester Bay Rural Fire Protection District.

My main interests right now are web design and learning to use PSP 7. I'm an avid reader - but, have discovered books on tape at our library.  They're great - you can work on computer projects and still "read" a book!

Hi I am Paula Suzanna - better known as Suzie. I am 54 and have two kids - 30 & 20, one step-daughter - 25, two grand daughters 8 & 1.

I am married to Fred who is 6'3" and a big guy! He is a step-up production grinder, operator, teacher and fill-in leader.

I was given a copy of psp by my daughters but no book. So I am studying to learn it better before I move on to 7.

I love scrabble, I am a scrabble junkie! lol I love quilting but no room in small house so am hooked on cyber quilts.

Born and raised in Illinois. Have been married to Gregg for 28 wonderful years. On our 25 anniversary we went to Hawaii and renewed our wedding vows. Have two children one boy Cory and a daughter Jennifer. I have one grandson Ashton. 

Gregg works for the government, and sometimes travels. I'm a housewife who care for my grandson. I love being on the computer and doing genealogy. I collect bears and angels. I'm proud to be a member of Heart of Gold!!!!!!

I have been married to my husband Roger for 31 years. I have 5 children. Randy (A SET OF TWINS) Richard and
Cynthia, Lisa and Michael. I have 4 grandchildren.
Roger is in construction (dozer operator). I've been
disabled for 10 years now due to rheumatoid arthritis.

Ruthi - bit o' sunshine

Hello Heart of Gold Family...My name is Ruthi, but prefer a bit o' sunshine in my name, lol! I'm very happily married to wonderful hubbie, Larry...Our children at home are Charlie the ball python, Tidbit our darling chow/australian shepherd mutt, Bootie Babie our missing pygmy goat and a few barn cats...I have a 29 year old son & Larry has a 25 year old daughter, an 18 year old son and a 16 year old son...Larry's a flexographic press engineer & I'm a waitress. We live in Rome, GA, USA that is, way out in the boonies and love it! Family & friends are more important to me than anything & I utilize my computer to spread a bit o' sunshine in their direction as often as possible. I also enJOY the great outdoors, scrapbooking, needlecrafts and sharing my thoughts & feelings through my poetry and writings. I love joining net groups and I am a certified Heart of Gold lurker!

Hi, I’m Page. 

I am 61 and married 29 years to my soulmate and best friend. We live on the beautiful central coast of California. I ordered some heart stickers to put on snail mail which say "Retired in Paradise." 

Our two young grandsons live nearby and we are very involved in their lives and activities. Grandparenting is such a joy. I get about mostly by wheelchair these days so I spend a lot of time on the computer. I am about as graphically literate as a comatose chimpanzee, so depend on dear Polly for my exquisite graphics. She really spoils me and even if I try to make one she says it is terrible and makes me a beautiful one. So, I’m sticking to maintaining websites! 

I love volunteer work to "pay back" for the abundance, love, and great life I’ve had. I am a docent at our local library, editor of our community’s monthly Sr. Citizens’ Newsletter, soon to be webmistress of a "Friends of the Library" site and nominated to their Board of Directors. 

My dear husband ferries me about in good humor. He pushes my wheelchair but I usually do the driving. I love to drive. Friends tell me I don’t look my age and I certainly don’t feel it. Anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I have wonderful beholders. Hugs, Page
